The Starburst Contradictions Project + WFNX/Phoenix BMP

Last nite the Boston Bruins beat the Vancouver Canucks to win the team's first Stanley Cup in 39 years. It was an amazing game, and we watched it at the Brighton Music Hall while we attended the WFNX/Boston Phoenix Best Music Poll Awards Party. We didn't take home any awards, but we had a great time. Chris Warren joined the Bodega Girls on stage and did a smash up version of The Modern Lovers' song "Government Center". Lot's of love and many thanks to the Bodega Girls for shouting us out when they took home Live Act of the Year. They also dedicated to us an amazing version of Til Tuesday's "Voices Carry" - Carmen was stone-cold-sexy and killed it.

The party was fun and Game 7 was amazing, but what we are really excited about is the first song on our self-titled, debut album, "Heartbreak Sweepstakes", being used for a Starburst promotional video. Starburst has just posted their video for The Contradictions Project, a partnership with VH1 Save The Music Foundation to help restore music programs in schools across the country. We are psyched that our music is getting out to the people, as part of such a great project. Please check out the video below and for more information check out Starburst on facebook.
