SHOWS: Viva Viva + Frank Smith, BOS + NYC

This weekend we're pretty pumped to host the homecoming party for our homedood's Frank Smith, who are on their Austin to Boston 2012 tour. With their return to the Northeast, we've set up two amazing shows. First, we host a big bash at the Middle East Downstairs on Sat May 26, with our SXSW buds The New Highway Hymnal starting the evening off, and Hallelujah The Hills headlining and celebrating their CD release! Then the party continues in Brooklyn at Public Assembly on Sun May 27 with RIBS rounding out the bill, who are celebrating the release of their new CD.

Lot's of new music to celebrate all around, including our new EP, What's The Kim Deal? If you don't have the new pink vinyl EP because you don't own a record player, you can download a digital copy over at iTunes.

It's going to be a great weekend, and we look forward to seeing a lot of friendly faces at these shows. Last time we kicked it with the Frank Smith doods, we were in Austin for SXSW. They were gracious enough to put us up for the week, and we raged a house party show together. While we're talking SXSW, here is the video from our visit to the Converse Rubber Tracks South Studio. We ran through a quick Hailing A Cab In Hell, which is the first song on the new EP! Below that, you can watch the video for Monster, one of the new tracks on Frank Smith's latest, Before You Were Born.
